In 2016, architect Dieter Vander Velpen designed a kitchen for the private residence of Angelo Rizzi, founder of Il Granito. Inspired by Angelo’s love for cubist forms, the space reflects bold geometry and refined minimalism. The kitchen island and countertops are crafted from Calacatta Vagli marble, sourced from the heart of Tuscany. Underfoot, a floor of Travertino Navona, aged with a unique in-house technique developed by Il Granito, grounds the space in warm, timeless texture. A bespoke kitchen where architectural vision meets the soul of stone.
